Make sure that the surfaces to be refinished are fairly clean before we arrive. We will be cleaning the surface as part of our process. You can be aggressive in your cleaning, as we will be etch cleaning and sanding the entire surface later.

Any fixtures (drains, faucets, over flow plates, trim, shower doors and frames etc.) that are going to be replaced should be removed or replaced before we arrive.


Bathtubs / Sinks / Showers / Vanity Tops:

Give surface a generous cleaning. Best to use liquid dish soap with a degreaser, warm water and a Scotch-Brite pad.

Repair leaky faucet (if applicable)
Remove all bathroom items. (Example: shower curtains and rods, rugs, shampoo bottles, tooth brushes, glasses, hair products)
Remove anything that you will need for the day from cabinets.


Kitchen Countertops:

Give surface a generous cleaning. Best to use a liquid dish soap with a degreaser, warm water and a Scotch-Brite pad.

Remove all items from the countertop.
Remove any wall pictures that are close to area of countertops.
Remove anything that you will need for the day from cabinets.
Turn off gas to stove, electric stove is ok.
TILE (counters/showers/surrounds and wall tile):

Give surface a generous cleaning. Best to liquid dish soap with a degreaser, warm water and a Scotch-Brite pad.
It is best if you remove at least the toilet tank if we are to refinish the tile in back of the toilet. You do not have to remove the entire toilet.
Be sure that the grout/tile is in good condition. Any major grout/tile condition problems will have to be addressed prior to refinishing.
Remove all bathroom items. (Example: shampoo bottles, tooth brushes, glasses, hair products) You should also take down pictures etc. from the walls.

Remove anything that you will need for the day from cabinets.
